The Banshee is part of State Bicycle’s Fixed-Gear Freestyle (FGFS) line, and it was born out of the need for a rugged bike that’s just as ready for aerial tricks as it is for cruising the streets. The stout 4130 chromoly frame deftly hops, spins, and soars, and the FGFS-specific chromoly fork stands up to the hard knocks of park life. Kenda’s tacky urban tires are mounted on State’s own deep-dish wheels with a flip-flop rear hub, so you can run this street slayer fixed or freewheeled. And, because State Bicycle designed this beast to help you push the envelope, they supplied the Banshee with a burly forged crank, Animal’s tough Hamilton pedals, and Holdfast’s foot straps so you’ll stick to the pedals like glue.
